So Hostinger doesn’t give you any option to save templates for web pages or blog posts.
Sure, their prices are decent compared to some other comparable services, and their Website Builder saves me time on the initial site build. But that’s where the convenience ends. There’s no way to save all that work as a template to streamline creating consistent new pages or blog posts on the site. So every time I hit the button to create a new blog post, I have to edit the page for the post by hand, copying and pasting sections and elements to get any visual consistency. The only option to avoid this headache is to duplicate existing posts and pages and then alter the content. It’s doable, but it should be better than such a lame workaround. Saving templates has been a thing on other services for decades.
It’s a bad joke!
“Oh yes, we make it super easy to build your website without having to do any coding!” The part they don’t tell you is once you finish the initial build, their builder makes maintaining the site tedious and clunky. Along with no consistency in the theming where despite changing the so-called “global” settings, changing text types (header, paragraph, etc.) always causes the color to default back to dark gray or black. Again, incredibly tedious and annoying.
